2008 Heron Lakes - May Meeting
May 22nd, 2008 - The May Meeting, hosted by Jeff Cornelson at Heron Lakes Country Club, was a huge success. Our guest speaker, John Edd Thompson, had a great presentation for all the attendees to enjoy. John Edd is arguably the most recognized face and name in television weather on the Gulf Coast. We were certainly honored to have him as our guest speaker.
His educational session was both entertaining and enlightening, and it appears he also brought good weather for the golfers to enjoy. The tournament ended in a tie for first place between two teams which
